You are just a number like everybody else, no job security, managers are a revolving door, no equity between all your coworkers, dealing with union employees, terrible subcontractors.
Pros close by. Cons unstable. Managers are NOT hired based on their skills so a majority are incompetent and don't have a clue. Executives make decisions based on their bonuses and not on long term company goals.
Just look at their current problems. If you can get into a good group you can learn a lot and gain experience. If you don't, then office politics takes hold.

Spent almost a decade at the company and it's like pulling teeth to get promoted and they hardly ever want to increase pay even after you have seeked your own growth through higher education and professional training and certifications that you present throughout your career.
They talk growth and development and empowerment, but if you don't do it yourself then it doesn't happen and the word empowerment is sling to make them feel like they are saying the right things in front of leadership. False hope and the culture needs to do better. Pros Healthcare benefits top notch. Cons Professional growth and promotions and fair salary compensation is non-existing.
Great compensation, wlb, and opportunities. Moves so slow with a lot of bureaucracy. Sometimes mismanaged programs and prevailing laid back attitude cause serious delays. The sense of purpose can get dragged down when you see the programs suffering from lack of urgency and passion. Company wise benefits, pay, and culture is very cushy. Pros Cushy, great compensation.
