Part of the Ahn'Qiraj gate opening hoo-haw, this mob is one of the officer spawns of strange Qiraji crystals that appeared throughout Kalimdor. Most all of the officers had the random world drop loot table of whichever appropriate bracket, so if you're on a server with unopened AQ gates, when the time comes get to farming these guys!

Comment by shadowaninja I remember I had first started out just when this event started. I was walking around the Barrens when I saw a group of enemies that looked a bit out of place. Lo and behold there was general Zod! Not only that but he decided to reward me by coming over to me and even speaking to me!

I of course knelt to the all mighty Zod, but apparently he found me not too his liking and crit me to death.
